About Us

Founded in 2007, Love Bridal Boutique began with a simple but powerful realization. While shopping for a wedding dress with her newly engaged friend, founder Nancy Love noticed that Jacksonville was missing something essential: a bridal boutique that offered upscale designer gowns in a relaxed, welcoming environment. On Valentine’s Day of that same year, Nancy and her sister-in-law, Mary, opened the doors to Love Bridal Boutique, creating a space where brides could feel comfortable, confident, and truly celebrated while shopping for their wedding dress.

The original Love Bridal Boutique was located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach and quickly became known as the charming little pink building on A1A. From the beginning, Love stood out as a destination for brides seeking high-end wedding dresses without the pressure or pretense often associated with bridal shopping. Nancy, who also has a background in real estate and marketing, built Love from the ground up, teaching herself every aspect of running a business while immersing herself in the world of bridal fashion. Her passion, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for what Love Bridal Boutique is today.

In June of 2017, Nancy passed the torch to longtime manager Melissa and her husband, Sean Moneypenny. With a deep appreciation for the boutique’s history and values, the Moneypennys proudly continue the Love legacy, honoring Nancy’s original vision while thoughtfully evolving the brand. Their commitment to exceptional service, elevated design, and a welcoming atmosphere remains at the heart of everything they do.

In 2021, Melissa and Sean purchased the historic Polly B Dance Academy, located just one mile from Love’s original home. After a complete renovation, Love Bridal Boutique relocated in September 2021 to its stunning new space. The new boutique features five private bridal suites, custom finishes, and beautiful details throughout, creating an intimate and luxurious setting for brides and their guests.
