How Far in Advance Should I Start Shopping for My Wedding Dress?

We typically recommend shopping for your wedding dress about a year before your wedding date. This gives enough time for gown production, shipping, and alterations without feeling rushed or stressed.

The earlier you begin, the more options and flexibility you will have during the process.

How Many Bridal Appointments Should I Schedule?

Honestly? Not too many.

We usually recommend starting with one appointment and seeing how you feel afterward. Scheduling too many appointments back-to-back can quickly become overwhelming and make it difficult to stay present in the experience.

Many brides begin second-guessing themselves with “what if” thoughts instead of focusing on how they actually feel in the gown they love.

Who Should I Bring to My Appointment?

Bring a couple of your favorite people who support you and make you feel confident. Your bridal appointment should feel positive, encouraging, and relaxed.

At LOVE Bridal Boutique, most of our suites accommodate up to five guests, and one larger suite accommodates up to eight.

What Do I Need to Bring to My Appointment?

The good news? Not much.

You really only need:

• Yourself
• A few supportive guests
• An open mind

You can bring specific shoes or special undergarments to try with our dresses. However, most bridal gowns already include built-in cups or corsetry for support and fit.

And yes—we provide champagne and light snacks to help make your experience even more fun!
